Here are a set of rails that will be used to cut the power
face of the paddle blades. There are spacers mounted at
the center of each rail so that the rails will clear the sled.

Here one paddle is mounted into the router box profiler. Note that the templates
(shown in red) are straight across; the blade will not be curved
crosswise.

After shaping the back surface some rough spots are removed and
the area between the shaft and the blade needs to be blended
with the spokeshave.
